experience in healthcare IT, strategic planning, implementation and adoption.
Backed by over 20 years of clinical experience in General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and
Critical Care, over 7 years of experience with Cerner Clinical Applications, leadership role
as Chief Medical Information Officer, and experience with quality, safety and improvement performance.
Active in the Healthcare IT community and organizations such as HIMSS, AMIA, and CHIME, also
a member of the Board of Directors for Colorado HIMSS, and member of the Cerner Physician Advocate Program.
Enthusiastic and interested in understanding the underlying technology that makes our world run,
including cryptography and encryption standards, decentralized trusted networks, and Financial Technology.
